This girl totally rocks. Her voice, body-language, variation of voice, selection of songs. Sure finalist and may be a winner too.
* She was finalist in ‘Boogie Woogie, Chalo America’. dance competition organized by Sony TV in the year 2003.
* In August, 2006, during participation in NRI Antakshari organized by Annu Kapoor, Mauli’s singing talent was much appreciated by all the visiting members from Mumbai. Annu Kapoor expressed that she has lots of potential and deserves better platform.

btw both videos are of item songs…have u heard her sing old songs…how does she fare in that…?
She’ll compete with Sunidhi for all the item numbers, but haven’t seen anybody compete with Shreya for regular songs…!

Namashkar. Thank you for bringing such a wonderful show to the millions of audiance world wide. I live in the USA and a musician myself . I would like to express my views of the recent show in which I witnessed Mr. Himesh Reshamiya’s vulger and dispecable behaviour. This is totally unaccceptable. In my opinion, Himeshji Reshamiya is taking undue advantage of this prestigious platform to promote his own agenda at the cost of these aspiring new talents. We are apalled to see that people of our great nation, where music is worshipped, do not condemm this outragious behaviour! Himesh Ji has absolutely no respect for any musician, He brings total disgrace to your esteemed show. Is this a strategy of the show to make it controvertial and sell it in the world market ? Please have some rules for the Gurus as well. One commands respect, not demand it. The show looks more like a verbal wrestling stage. Ashaji was very graceful. Our music is about humility, not arrogance.

mauli needs more training in indian classical music which is not her cup of tea. She needs to understand the depth of Indian classical music which does not need just screaming (the way she does with every sone!) It needs sur, taal, humility, devotion and all such virtues which she lacks the most!
